Our mission
Nature, beauty and history for everyone, for ever
The National Trust cares for nature, beauty and history across England, Wales and Northern Ireland and opens these places for everyone to enjoy. It protects historic buildings, monuments, coast, countryside, farms, woodlands and habitats so they can remain part of everyday life for future generations. Its work also focuses on restoring nature, improving access to green space and helping more people build a lasting connection with the outdoors and shared heritage.
