British Red Cross
Helping people through emergencies, disasters and conflict
Our mission
Here for people in crisis, whoever and wherever they are
The British Red Cross helps people through crises, whether they face an emergency in the UK or conflict and disaster elsewhere in the world. Its teams work alongside communities from preparation and immediate response through to recovery, listening to what people need and helping them regain stability. As part of the global Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, it combines local action with the reach of the world’s largest humanitarian network.
